VTA MEMBERSHIP FORMS PAGE

General Member:

The VTU was not made to keep Troopers out. If any Trooper wishes to be a member of the VTU but does not wish to pay dues, they may be a General Member. General Members cannot attend all VTU meetings, hold Board Positions or vote on organizational issues. General Members do not have the Active Member benefits.

Active Member:

Active Members receive the benefits listed on the Benefits page and may also attend all VTU meetings, hold Board Positions and vote on organizational issues. Active Membership dues are currently $30.00 per month. Dues are paid by payroll deduction and the rate of $15.00 per pay period ($30.00 each month). VTU dues are tax deductable.

The insurance form to the left must be filled out by Active Members to ensure coverage and verify beneficiaries. The VTU will forward the form to the insurance carrier. The cost for the coverage is included in the monthly dues and is at no additional cost to Active Members. Active Members must fill out the form to the left for the coverage to begin. If you have questions about the insurance coverage or if you wish to expand the insurance coverage contact the VTU.
