Simply put, the VTA is an organization by Troopers for Troopers. We believe an organization focused on the issues facing Troopers and Field Agents, the backbone of the Department, can make a difference. We will not spend $150,000 of your hard-earned money on Executive Directors. We will not use money put into the VTA to throw parties for politicians. We will not use VTA money to fund pleasure trips or golf outings for board members.

We will pursue legislation that helps Troopers and Agents do their jobs more effectively and take care of their families. We will do everything possible to protect and help VTA members and their families at critical incidents and during grievance procedures. We will do everything possible to make lives of Troopers and Agents, both personally and professionally, better.

Joining the VTA is a way for Troopers to get involved with improving themselves, the Department, Commonwealth and our Country.
