Military Member Troopers

In some Troopers’ experience being activated and deployed in the Military while being a Trooper brought challenges that previously were unknown to them. During the times prior to activation, during deployment and returning to work as a Trooper, some felt the Department could better handle every stage of this time.

If you were deployed in military service or have ideas on how the Department could better handle these transitions, please contact the VTA. We can work together to improve how activations are processed as well as help support activated Troopers and their families.

Even when militarily activated, you are still a Trooper and part of this family.
