We are pleased to announce a new Virginia Troopers Alliance service initiative designed to lead positive change in our area - the VTA Community Outreach Program (VTA COP). VTA COP offers citizens of the Commonwealth the chance to get to know their local State Troopers while learning life-saving information. VTA COP postcards have been printed and mailed to several local organizations offering free educational sessions given by Troopers.

Session topics offered include, but are not limited to:

• Highway Safety
• Laws of the Road
• Changing Tires
• Installing Car Seats
• Jumpstarting Batteries

Examples of organizations we sent the VTA COP postcards to:

• American Red Cross of Southeastern Virginia
• Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast
• Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce
• Norfolk Jaycees
• Portsmouth Community Relations and Leisure Services
